Date of Service: May 12, 2026

PAUL – Sharon Jean Couch Hobbs, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 77. She was born on August 15, 1948, in Garland, Utah, to George W. Couch and Melba Cottle, and was one of 14 siblings in a large and loving family.

Sharon built a remarkable life rooted in dedication, strength, and love. For over 40 years, she was a respected and accomplished realtor in the Mini-Cassia area. Known for her integrity and determination, Sharon was fiercely loyal to her clients and tirelessly worked to secure the best possible outcomes for them. Her reputation was one of trust, perseverance, and genuine care for the people she served.

On March 3, 1970, Sharon married the love of her life, Delmas C. Hobbs. Together, they built a family that became the center of her world. She was a devoted and loving mother to her two sons, Richard L. Hobbs and Waylon G. Hobbs, whom she supported, guided, and protected with unwavering strength.

Sharon’s greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her sons, Richard L. (Staci) Hobbs and Waylon G. (Stephanie) Hobbs; her cherished grandchildren, Skylar C. (Alex), Austin (Keana), Alexys, Zachary, Jacobi, and Hunter; and her adored great-grandchildren, Carter, Kase, and Karsyn. She is also survived by her siblings, Jerry (Nancy) Couch, Keith (Sally) Couch, David (Leslie) Couch, Karen Couch, Jayne Payne, and Carol Selman-Clark, along with many extended family members and dear friends.

Sharon was a strong and deeply loving woman—fiercely protective of her children and grandchildren, and unwavering in her loyalty to those she loved. She had a generous heart, a determined spirit, and a presence that brought comfort and strength to those around her.

She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the countless lives she touched throughout her life.

A family graveside service will be held on May 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Paul Cemetery in Paul, Idaho.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
