RUPERT – Mireya Gil, a 53-year-old resident of Rupert, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, located at 802 F St., in Rupert, with the Rev. Father Camilo Garcia as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Paul Cemetery.

An evening vigil will be held at the Church from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6 p.m.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home of Burley.
